At our firm, partners Kristina Kendall-Gkikas and Thomas Kendall decided to request $60 for initial consultations, and it’s time to take a moment to explain some of the reasoning behind it.
You Get What You Pay For
We are often asked why we don’t provide free initial consultations. One reason sounds rather counter-intuitive, but it’s true—we provide so much value for our clients. By charging this small fee, we serve you better. When you arrive at our office, you won’t be sent to some lower-level staff member or shooed away after only speaking with an attorney for a few short minutes, which is what often happens at other firms. Instead, you will be calmly ushered into the office, when one of our attorneys will listen to you and offer you excellent legal counsel for an entire hour without interruption. We value your time and we value ours, so this is the best way we’ve found to honor that and provide our clients with the best service possible.
Why Do You Charge So Much for Everything?
When people see our hourly rates and rates for certain services, many balk at the prices. That’s a perfectly understandable reaction for someone who hasn’t even dealt with the legal system before. But you have to know what stands behind those numbers—top-notch legal advice and representation and perhaps even the keys to your bright future. At Kendall Gkikas & Mitchell we take every single client and every single case incredibly seriously. By charging these amounts, we are able to dedicate ourselves to fighting for you and defending your rights as much as we possibly can. Our laser-sharp focus will find every little detail that will help your case and increase the likelihood of your ideal outcome. If we were to charge much less, we would have to take on many more clients to be able to make ends meet and keep our doors open. Instead, we’ve chosen to charge more and deliver excellent results to our valued clients.
